AIBIM

The Association of Islamic Banking Institutions Malaysia (AIBIM) was established in 1996 as the Association of Interest Free Banking Institutions Malaysia.

Currently, AIBIM has 25 member banks comprising 10 domestic banks, 4 development financial institutions, 9 locally incorporated foreign banks operating in Malaysia and 2 International Financial Institutions.

And what we do:

  • Promote sound Islamic banking system and practice in Malaysia
  • Represent interest of members locally and abroad
  • Provide advice and assistance to members pertinent in the development on Islamic banking and finance at local, regional and global level
  • Coordinate human capital development initiatives for members
  • Promote public awareness

FIMA

The Federation of Islamic Medical Associations (FIMA) is a registered body of 29 IMAs and 17 associate members worldwide, representing about 50,000 Muslim medical and health professionals. The mission of FIMA is to provide a platform for Muslim Physicians world wide in the areas of Medical education and ethics, Student camps and humanitarian and medical relief. It is a not-for-profit, non-political and non-Governmental organization.

 

IAIS Malaysia

The Institute is dedicated to the rigorous pursuit of objective academic research on Islam and contemporary issues of concern to Malaysia, the ummah and Islam’s engagement with other civilisations.
