Deletion of Previous Submission

Note: Please note Deletion Request for all submissions through UM is under the administration of Jabatan Teknologi Maklumat (Department of Information Technology) and only request from UM students and staff will be entertained

Request for previous submission removal from Turnitin Archive

1.   Click on the download icon & choose Digital Receipt

        

 

2.   Digital Receipt available in PDF. Send a request together with your Submission ID.

        

 

3.   Request for previous submission removal from Turnitin Archive - Via Helpdesk

  • Students can also request for deletion through the helpdesk.um.edu.my
  • After LOG-IN, select NEW to create a new ticket.
  • Select Category >> ICT Services,
  • Select Product >> Turnitin.
  • Click on the Receiver listed and fill in the request detail as shown below.
  • Click Submit and you will be updated on the status of your request by Jabatan Teknologi Maklumat (Department of Information Technology) via Helpdesk following your request.

         

4.   Request for previous submission removal from Turnitin Archive – Via Email

      Step 1: EMAIL to umsoftware.support@um.edu.my

      Step 2: Attach the Digital Receipt (TURNITIN) containing the Submission ID.

      Step 3: Requests must be submitted using ONLY SISWAMAIL and UMMAIL. Other email handles will not be entertained.

      Step 4: Email must be titled:

Request for previous submission removal from Turnitin Archive - Submission ID XXXXXXXXXXXX Request for previous submission removal from Turnitin Archive – Via Email * 3 days is required for the deletion per submission ID from the date of submission.

NOTE : This submission class is set to "No Repository" which means that the submissions will not be saved/archived. Classes are deleted every Friday. Users may enroll to the new class to continue generating reports. (You do not need to create multiple accounts to enroll to subsequent classes.)
